Anyone who doesn't run like they've had a botched vasectomy should go straight into the team.

Forrest is a guy who should only be coming on as a last resort not starting.
Done OK at times this season but so limited. Hopefully Dhanda and Spittal can give us a bit more. I like Beni but it’s probably the right time for him to leave tbh.

McKay, Grant, Rowles, Akka can all go. Devlin I think has moments and is a handy player to have in the squad, but I wouldn't lose too much sleep over him going.
My concern is more that Naismith has said he doesn't want to churn the squad over so I think outgoings won't be as much as we would like.

Forrest quite rightly won player of the month earlier this season; done ok at times is a disservice. I want us to be good enough that he's starting 5-10 games a season, and an option off the bench the rest. But, outside of the old firm, he's as solid a winger as you're likely to get and not worry about losing after a good season.

I’d imagine beni is probably on a decent wage as well he was a bit of a coup for us at the time. I’d have been gutted to see him go pre injury but he’s genuinely moving like haring these days I’m not sure he’s a pler we want to persist with based on what we’re seeing - it’s shan as fuck as he was a superb midfielder at one stage.

No goal contributions in 8 games now though. Shouldn't be starting semi-finals for Hearts. I'm not sure having wingers who are just happy to be at Hearts is the best thing tbh. It's a gradual process though. He'll probably be away at the end of next season and hopefully Spittal and Dhanda are providing a lot more.

Forrest is probably as good a wide man as you’ll get who will be ok with sitting on the bench, while still coming in and showing a good attitude.
Anyone of higher quality and they are going to stink up a fuss if they aren’t starting after a few games.

Shankland may also be too fat to sell him for any serious money, so we should keep him and offer him several chances to sign a lucrative 4 year contract with us over the next 12 months. He might just opt for us, after all. Give his scummy agent some dough to keep him quiet. I know you all hate the shout, but big Theo Bair gives me De Vries vibes. His game is improving every week. If we could somehow offload Boyce and bring in Bair, that would be an upgrade (sorry to say Boycey).

Finally, why are Aberdeen, Hibs and Hearts not being linked with Lennon Miller? I take it we all just assume one of the OF will snap him up?
I feel like we could've bought Turnbull when he first came through at Motherwell but we didn't want to drop 500k on raw potential. We should be putting in bids as early as possible for these kids and then make sure its us selling them on to the OF/down south. Will get more Lewis Ferguson type transfer fees with this strategy. Our recruitment team's path of using data to find a rough diamond in the global bargain bin market isn't working as a coherent strategy. A player like this might be worth a punt now and again (Vargas?) but we need to move away from this pattern.

The Bair should definitely be on our radar.

Clark off to Celtic according to over the road.
I like the St J keeper. Dimitar Mitov. 27. 6ft4. Now in the Bulgaria squad A year to go on his contract.

Clark to Celtic would be disappointing because he’d just become the current Scott Bain sitting on the bench.
He’s too good to be that sort of pler but obviously they’d be able to offer a better wage even for a back up keeper. How long left does he have on his deal?

He came to Hearts to sit on his hole, the only reason he got in is because Gordo got a devastating injury so I think the 2nd/3rd choice thing might be what he's after.
