Shankland? Captain of Hearts?
Haa, we're just giving leader badges out for fun.

Maldini was a leader, Roy Keane was a leader.

Foden and Bellingham are the two class operators on their day, I'm not overly fussed about the rest. Foden has never really been great for England as of yet so hopefully that will continue.

The funny thing is Dunk and Bowen would be first names on the Scotland team sheet if they were Scottish
We are very lucky England have Southgate in charge.

England haven't won a thing in any of our lifetimes and it's only been in recent times while he's been in charge where you feel they actually have a chance of winning anything.

See if Germany, Italy, Spain etc were anything like the standard they usually are, England wouldn't get a mention.
If Bellginham, Foden and Kane click into gear they will win it but I'm yet to see Southgate use those shree effectively.

England have crumbled any time they've played a good team in a major tournament. They've had a succession of third rate opponents and played almost every game at Wembley en route to a final defeat. Southgate isn't necessarily a poor manager but he's done nothing given the circumstances.

They're a Kane injury away from being a last 16 side, and they're doing nothing with that defence either, slab heid or no slab heid. Another golden generation to end in tears is an absolute nap

Sacking Southgate and appointing the next diddy isn't going to change that.

They've had the easiest routes in tournaments knowing to man and caught short everytime they've had to face a team in the top 10. Purely on lack of in-game tactical nous from Southgate. He's a total square, making a mockery of players who should walk these tournaments.

I'm just hoping they kick off in the streets, and disgrace themselves when the inevitable KO loss happens, hopefully in the semi vs the Gerries.

A rare bullseye from Scott here. A competent England gaffer would have a Euros and possibly even a World Cup (certainly a final appearance) under his belt by now.
If they had a world class centre half they’d stroll this tournament. Hopefully they come up short against a proper side as usual.
