The St Johnstone defence are bad, but still, how good does Dhanda look, lively, sharp and lethal.

Ross County supporter on the BBC scottish football podcast saying Dhanda will be the best player at Hearts, other than Shankland.
Some of his play for them was ridiculous, and think what he's going to do in a Hearts team who have most of the possession against the majority of the league.

Will depend on how he handles the expectations. You don’t get to take the 3/4 games off here and get away with it. If he can contribute most weeks he’ll be doing well.

Killie fans probably said the same about mehdi taouil.

I've got hopes that dhanda will be a big player for us. He can take a corner and we've not had that for the longest time. If he can play balls through the lines regularly i'll be very happy.

I always felt he was the gem of the signings we have made. Big Gerry looks great but I think YanDan has got that magic in him, someone you actually enjoy watching play, which is rare these days especially as a Hearts midfield player.

He's the only one of the new boys I'd back to pin down a starting berth week in week out and become a key man. Plenty quality which I think will come through.

Dhanda is one of these rare skillful players that can cope with Tynecastle’s tight pitch. Usually we sign “skillful” players and they get caught on the ball all day long.

Dhanda has great intelligence and has another level in him after Hearts

He's got a couple of family members that are Hearts supporters as well, it's a match made in heaven.

He got the same number of goals and assists as Jorge Grant last season. Think he’ll be decent and a cert to have a cult moment or two but will be pleasantly surprised if he does it week in week out tbh.

Genuine question - Did Grant score any goals that weren't penalties? The only goal I can remember him scoring for us that wasn't a penalty was in a cup game at Killie.

I dunno how you're able to compare him to Jorge Grant, but you've somehow managed it.

You only have to watch about 3 minutes of Dhanda playing to realise that he's head and shoulders above Grant in terms of ability, and he was playing in a Ross County team full of duds.
Jorge grant was playing for a far better team, and although you claim his stats are the same, he did bugger all to excite the fans or show that he's anything more than another olly lee.

His delivery from set pieces is very good. Proper bit of whip on the old baw. Could see him bagging against Hibs. Seems like the type who loves the telly games.

Have to agree with AP, it’s about the expectation on him doing it week in week out For us that’s the worry.

Hopefully he is up to the challenge

Aye, let's just ignore that he's a far better player than Grant, and that Grant does fuckall week in and week out.  Warnock

Dhanda isn’t a “moments” player.

He orchestrates games. There will be games when he doesn’t, but his MO is controlling the tempo of the game and being a creative force. He isn’t a circus act.

Excited by him and Spittal but the bubble has burst many times before after we (including Scott) got very excited about signings and they never hit the expected level.

High hopes for him but let’s wait and see.
