How is that his career so far. I just don't get it.

Unbelievable find and probably an improvement on Penrice. Not as good attacking (but not bad at all) and fantastic defensively.

What a waste for him to be cutting about the lower leagues most of his career.

I said when we signed him that the Thistle fan in my work said that he’d be a better signing than Penrice.

Granted I didn’t believe him Laugh but it’s certainly looking like he was right all along.

Loved them both. We don’t know what level Penrice defence skills would have been under Mcinness. Conversely we don’t know how many times Milne would’ve looked like a mug following Critchley’s instructions.

Very much enjoying Milne though, aggressive and excellent mentality

Didn't even make it to League 2 until he was 23, wasn't full time until 26, and our young guys get written off at 18.

Must admit when he signed I never thought for a second that he'd ever be our starting left back  Monty Chuckle But was very good last night.

Jamestown in full flow this, Penrice sold off at peak value and we've already got his low cost replacement in the building the window before.

If we can keep that up with the majority of our deals it's easy to see why people would get excited about the potential with the increasing transfer fees we can then pay as well.

I would say attacking he’s better than Penrice purely because his crossing is much much better. Agree with Scott that we probably didn’t see Penrice reach his full potential though because we didn’t have someone like McInnes in the dugout last season

Penrice cost us a good few goals last season. I think we’ve absolutely mugged the Greeks to be honest.

Milne just looks better, physical attributes much much better, he won’t get bullied at the back post

I rated penners but when you think about it his end product wasn't that great and defensively he was below average.

He was immense at getting the ball up the park though and he created problems for defenders on the overlap. When he had to make the cross though it was fairly hit and hope, i don't remember him being that clinical with his final baw.

Saying that i think he's probs worth the money, in the right team he'll continue to do very well and £2m is fuck all in todays market. Good luck to him but i think we have done well with Milne on the face of it. I wasn't too sure with our LB options, milne being relatively unknown and kingsley on the slide but he has proven he deserves to be in the team with his chances.

Penrice woudlve been a real force to be reckoned with under Mcinness. But we have Milne now and he’s a great find

He was incredible today out of position.

Basically everything he tried worked. One of these guys you know is going to give everything every game.

Get him signed.

Signed a year extension Quite Good

Probably means we’re looking to cash in on him this summer and we’ll be wanting a wedge of cash.

Hardly, it's a deal until 2027, and he'll be 29 soon. Not everything has to be about selling players.

Good to tie down a quality player in his peak years.
