RANGERS TO PLAY
Celtic Away
Hearts Away
Falkirk Home
Hibs Home
Motherwell Home

However. We all need to complete the season with 19 Home and Away each.
Rangers need to therefore have one of those 3 Home games Away from home.
Ideally Motherwell Away. No doubt Falkirk.

HEARTS TO PLAY
Celtic Away
Hibs Away
Motherwell Away
Rangers Home
Falkirk Home

Both going to Celtic who might be out. They'll bay to beat Rangers but might not have that intensity of fan pressure vs us.

The one thing I don't want is Celtic Awsy first game after the split. As they'll think beat us they are still in it.

Want them when they're out of it.

Guaranteed our first fixture.

They’ll do the derbies first to avoid any title winning games in those. Ideally you want Falkirk early but reckon that’ll be last.

There are two aspects to the post split that concern me.

1. Artificially changing Home and Aways to ensure 19 each home and 19 each away fixtures completed. I mentioned Rangers have 3 home games where one needs changed to away. How are decisions like this made? ie which fixture changed?

2. The order of games is huge. Celtic Away playing whilst still able to win the league versus not. Or a Motherwell with nothing to play for. When our game v Rangers takes place.

How are these things decided? By who? Is there transparency?

Who cares, the split is a good laugh and there are going to be a bunch of class games every week.

The brand of hearts fan that moans about the split if we lose the league will be the worst.

This seems written by someone who just took up football as an interest this season. Weird. A good laugh?

They'll not switch any games that directly involve the top 3, and they won't switch the derby for us, so the only options for us will be to switch Motherwell or Falkirk to a home game.

Rangers will end up in the same situation no doubt.

I'd be shocked if they didn't have the derbies in the first 2 games to avoid any potential title decider being in those games, and with that in mind we might find were playing Hibs, Celtic and Rangers in the first 3 games for that exact reason Eek

The artificial change to ensure 19 home/19 away actively benefits us because because by rights we should be playing every other top 6 side except Rangers away.

It’s at times like this where you realise that the split is actually only beneficial to two teams.

If we win our next two, we’ll know that winning our two home games and a point in an away game will more than likely win the league.

That is the best way to avoid any chat of bias or the fixtures being rigged. Do the business before the split so that it is very much in our hands.

It will be really interesting to see how they handle it though. The split wasn’t designed for a 3 way title race Laugh

I mean in a normal country the police wouldn't be sticking their oar in and we could have a potential title decider match (not sure id handle that well either way) against Hibs or one of them, but we know they never allow it for the old firm and considering how bad they were recently I doubt they'll entertain the idea of that happening.

Bro has never been to most countries.

Try telling Italian, greek, Turkish football that the police won’t have a say.

You could watch the MLS if that’s more your thing? Nice normal country too with friendly police.

Do those countries arrange the last 5 games between the top 6 at the end of the season? No, so not comparable Greggy

I'm not arsed about it, just a general commentary on how we're all affected by the old firm being incapable of behaving themselves and how the post split games will likely be arranged accordingly.

I’d rather we didn’t have a decider against either of the OF or Hibs, if it’s all the same Eek

Also - AP, can you explain the logic behind winning the next two games and then winning the two home games and a point away? Interested in that thinking as it sounds quite good. I guess the idea is that we would have beaten Rangers?

Could we not have just dropped silly points and have had it done and dusted before the split Fat Cunt

Don't be a bitch. We'll rock up, win our games and it'll be champers, clunge and the league trophy in Gorgie.
