In ny lifetime we've had amazing relationships between the fans and Hearts keepers.

Smith. Niemi. Gordon. Rousset.

Schwollow just goes about his business. First year in this league. Every game a cup final. And he performs. Think we all feel safe with the guy. But other players get all the love and songs.

Wish we had a song to boom out for this lad.

He’s class, not sure if the stick he takes on here is just memeing or whatever but the guy has been a top signing for us.

Not sure how long he’s got on his contract, was a short deal iirc but you’d assume he’d have interest from a bigger team than us next season.

He’s got better and so doesn’t take stick anymore, simple stuff.

When you’re chucking in last min goals v killie at home, getting sent off Dundee away, giving away needless last min corners at st mirren losing us the game and turning routine saves into parries for the camera that land at opppsition players feet, you get criticism.

The last ten games or so he’s been solid. Not as concerned about having him for next season now. Although an upgrade would be class (easier said than done)

Craig gordon was excellent for Scotland against Greece and Denmark and made a great indirect free kick save and wonder save at Dens, so there was clamour for him. When he let that goal in agaisnt Celtic at home and watching his kicking that day, then the injury after, the Gordon v Schwollow debate ended for good. We know he’s retiring now. Hopefully makes the WC.

The guy has been one of the biggest reasons in us maintaining our form throughout the season. Mad some of the abuse he has had on here. A very good keeper and a calming influence.

I had him just below Kello on our list of goalies but he’s at least on par with him now. That’s a fair compliment I’d say, I really liked Kello.

Name checking Niemi and Gordon etc.. though. Easy Cammo lad.

If he wins the league as our number 1 he'll be above all of them other than Gordon.

A preposterous slur on Niemi’s name and his performance level. Wash your mouth out.

Its a very modern take that says "x player won something so he's above y player".

Niemi is a better keeper than schwollow.

There is a worry for him that the abiding memory of his Hearts career in which he has been very solid will be the Killie goal and battering a St Mirren shot out for a corner which they then scored from. 3 points dropped right there. Thats the life of a goalie though.

Top 5 in my lifetime

1. Gordon
2. Niemi
3. Kello
4. McLaughlin/MacDonald (Only for 5-1)
5. Schwollow

Don’t remember much of Rousset out with 98 final.

There’s a simple thread ender here, If you could have the choice, who would you want in goal for the last 5 games of the season - Gordon, Niemi, Rousset, Kello, McLaughlin, McDonald in their heyday or Schwollow. There is a valid argument that last pick would be Schwollow, but he’s in or around mid-table on that list for most I imagine.

When did Kello become so good?
McLaughlin has to be a head of him.

Ahead of MacDonald, and that's it.

Schwollow has been a decent signing overall, but it's hard to look past those howlers v. Killie and St. Mirren and that dogshit performance at Ibrox when the league is so tight.

A big upgrade on Zander at least, and he'll be fine for another season, but I'm hoping McFarlane or a JTA special comes through before too long.

Good keeper but he’s probably not in the top five in most our lifetime’s. Not really anything on him, we’ve just had a lot of class net tenders.

He makes my top 5 I think, it's impossible to be above Gordon and probably Niemi but he's up there amongst the rest of the good/decent ones.

If it wasn’t for his brain farts a win would see us champions tonight. I think he’s been decent but our defence has been excellent this season which makes him look better. He’s only averaging 2 saves per match, that reflects excellently on Halkett, Findlay and co.

Not in top 5 for me

I’ve felt very secure with him last 10 games. Gone up in my estimation. Passing and kicking is competent. Parries too much but as long as he’s making the saves.

Has had clangers but they were earlier in season so maybe was rusty, he looked pretty unfit when he first arrived tbh.

Would like us to get a top goalie but he is competent and we can’t rely on analytics for keepers sadly.

This is the one position where you just want Brighton to give us some class guy
