Get that Bosnia manager in. Looks like he tortures folk to unwind in the evening.

It’s hard to see you being wrong as we were 90% chance always going to finish in a weaker position than we did last season but that doesn’t change our long term plan. It’ll likely take time to recreate what we did last season but that was going to be the case regardless of whether mcinnes left or no. Cementing 3rd as a bare minimum every year is a big part of where we want to end up.

Just think, it could be Stevie G.

Maybe the domestic manager is a Bloom special sensational swoop for Danny Rohl
![]() Honestly don’t think the outlook could be much worse at the moment Was always going to be a stretch to challenge again the coming year but if we’d kept Shankland and McInnes we could probably have been there or thereabouts (and at least very confident of 3rd) with a couple of new starters coming in and a better squad depth. With those two gone, IMO we are left with a pretty average squad and a huge amount of the team spirit that made them overperform gone. Don’t think we’ve got a player left who the Old Firm would spend money on for example. With a new manager coming in you could argue we need basically a full new starting XI to challenge again. Milne is good enough, Kyzi if he gets back to it and who knows, maybe Ageu Not going to happen in one summer so no wonder the club journos are out in force dampening expectations

Honestly, it’s time Hearts were finally taken to the next level.

The Braga rumours have started. A puff piece by Sked will be along soon to soften that blow

They aren't going to pay 8 million for a Hearts player. Not a chance.

Critical we sell him pronto and get the money reinvested, really don’t see him backing up the goals again next year whether at Hearts or elsewhere.

Fuck me Chuck are you still on the cooking sherry from the game last night? had you down as one of the more sensible characters on this forum, I’m pretty sure that Neil McCann also works for Shanklands agency when he’s not moonlighting as a shit SPFL manager

Neil McCann will do well to finish the season still in the Kilmarnock dugout.
![]() I don’t want him anywhere near the Hearts job.

I’m going to defend Charlie a wee bit here.
I love Neil McCann. Legend. As a manager he plays good football and I love his intensity. To the point where you put him a competitive environment and he’s got a bit of a screw loose tbh. Critchley and McCann are opposite ends of the spectrum. Him trying to batter Tommy Wright was a highlight I wouldn’t take him at Hearts overall, but if we ever find ourselves in a bind and need a temporary manager, he’s top of my list. I do wonder if this is McCann’s moment to leave a decent mark on Scottish football management scene with Killie. He’s been unlucky in his managerial career. We’ve even seen Pressley have a relative renaissance after some shockers. Got to always judge people on future success not past failures. Good luck to wee Terry

I don’t think McCann is terrible manager but I’d be fucking seething if he replaced McInnes. By all accounts his style is just to go mental and billy Dodds is the tactician. No thanks. We need far better.

Most of the seethe has been about Rangers-minded players and managers using Hearts to get to Ibrox.
Neil McCann? Let's just go for Ian Durrant. |
