I think it's pretty obvious Del has told him he'll offer him a deal at the huns once he's in the door.

They're welcome to him tbh Warnock

I was all for him staying provided we didn't break the bank, for continuity and so on, but if the standard of player McInnes is signing is Cammy Devlin then that's actually quite reassuring.

Think he's decent but would be happy if that's the calibre of player they're in for. Could see him trying to sign Halkett if it wasn't for the injury, too.

Warnock
I get there has been a lot of underhand dealings in the past month but I’m not sure this could’ve been sorted whilst Devlin is at the World Cup and McInnes isn’t even officially confirmed? Suppose after the past couple weeks anything is possible

I think it will just be a case of Del telling him to hang fire until after the world cup and get the deal in place once he's in there.

Mr Hearts is a lucky boy signing for the Rangers. A player of that calibre should not be playing in front of 50,000 people every other week.

That performative video of him talking about us last week was clearly damage control. It was sus to me at the time, even more so now.

This is a really strange one for me. Rangers already have Connor Barron and although maybe not one of their more glamorous names through there, he was becoming a fans favourite for his work rate, winning the midfield and also getting the energy going in the team. He was missed by them when injured.

Devlin is similar defensively, but without the ability to carry and move the ball and really get involved offensively like Barron does. And even Barron has a fight to start through there.

Devlin, especially at Ibrox, as a CMF will be expected to 'do something' when in possession.

We created a system where Devlin could be utilised for his strengths and not worry too much about his limitations. I'm not sure he'll get that luxury through there. I think he's ready to be another Lyall Cameron type signing.

To retain Devlin or even have a chance now, we'd be up towards somewhere 8k-12k a week. There's no way with our budget I'd want to see that spent on Cammy.

I keep saying the same thing. Across McInnes, Shankland and Cammy - we'll improve. Rangers were always going to rebuild and if this is the limits of that programme - and where their money is going - I'm quite happy.

Rangers are two defeats already from their fans questioning this.....let's go be Hearts strategy.

They’ve got Chukwuani as well who can be destructive but is good on the ball as well

If Devlin goes there and plays over those guys they’re not going to be a team that out plays anyone
