Bird wants to go first-footing the next day. I'm desperately trying to convince her that it isn't 1950 any more.

Been invited to a flat party, so I'll probably do that. Can't be arsed with New Year at all, but one year I decided to stay in and that's actually worse.

Should be alright, I suppose; I'll see a few people I haven't seen in a while and there shouldn't be too many arseholes in attendance.
