That drink/drug driving video is fucking horrible, shows how quickly it can all go wrong.

Glad their parents have come out and called them idiots, blaming them entirely.

I'm very much in the zero tolerance approach to alcohol if you're going to drive. Normally 1 is fine but there's been a few times where i've been knackered after work and had 1 pint, and i've felt maybe not as far as tipsy, but definitely not 100%.

Some folk can have 5 pints and you wouldn't know the difference, some folk are one can dans and could be blootered. The easiest approach is just to have the zero tolerance policy.

Does the current guidelines not equate to like a small glass of wine or something?

Someone whose had 1 pint is just as dangerous as someone munching on a mars bar, having a fag, adjusting the stereo and so on. Not sure a zero tolerance is that necessary unless we substantially increase illegal activities whilst driving.

Not everyone reacts to alcohol in the same way as you tho.

Just because you are entirely able to have 1 pint or 1 glass of wine doesn't mean someone else is. So how do you regulate that?

What a clarty cow. How's the good old CSF these days anyway in the world of hooliganism? I've not seen a bit of bother at a hearts game since the Motherwell semi about a decade ago.
