You could play for Real Madrid, is that what you are saying?

I could do a more effective, less inept (although probably equally embarrassing) job playing for Real Madrid than I could competing in the world darts championships.

Could you compete more effectively in the Tour de France than in the WDC?

I've no idea what the Tour de France entails, Boomstick. I can ride a bike alright though. Similarly, I can play football alright (though obviously I couldn't play for Real Madrid, any pro or any serious amateur team, Alan). I couldn't play a decent game of darts to save my life, though. Same with golf.

Over a hundred miles on a bike over massive mountains at average speed of 30km/h.

Every day for three weeks.

Probably couldn't do that tbf. Obviously the gulf in fitness between pro cyclists and the average punter is colossal.

Could play for Real Madrid but couldn't ride the Tour de France due to fitness issues.

At least your not completely mental then. Brucie Cornette

Cycling 2.2k miles over 3 weeks versus 90 minutes of kicking a ball about a pitch with a 15 minute break in the middle.

Laugh

TBF, when I had a dart board and played quite a bit, I could hit the odd hundred plus. I practiced football a lot more and I could never hit a ball as hard as a half decent professional footballer (or any professional, really), even as a one off Laugh Think you are barking up the wrong banana on this one san Laugh

What sport is there the least difference between the top level and the rabble, then?

Some shite like netball probably. Hockey, in my brief experience of one school tournament when I was 10, seems like a piece of piss as well (note before posting lol-faces and Patrick Stewart videos that I've never actually watched any pro netball or hockey for more than five minutes Laugh).
