If anyone is planning on driving across the Forth Road Bridge tonight or even through to first thing tomorrow then definitely leave early or if possible find another route.  My mate is an engineer on the bridge and just told us they are closing the bridge southbound and only opening one lane northbound as some of structure has sheared on the truss.
