Thought I had a guy at my work to do it, he's had the forms over the weekend. Just popped in with them this afternoon to say he couldn't do it because he's not known me 2 years. Thought he was cool.

Aye but none of these people are people I'm in regular contact with. Pain in the arse having to phone someone from my past to ask them to sign a document for me. Think I've found a solution though, didn't realise you could use retirees. Granny's pals to the rescue.

I was at the Glasgow passport office last week to give them my forms for a fast-track application.

Woman didn't even glance at my counter-signatory bit, saying: "it doesn't really matter - I can confirm who you say you are here".

See this is what I assumed they could do. If a passport control cunt can see that's it me in my current passport, why can't the person at the post office when I do check and send? Pretty simple process.
