It's good to take time out from the pop now and again though - was off it for 5 weeks when I came back my holidays last year.

I'm just heading to the pub shortly. I'm going easy in January but I'm still going to grab a couple of beers here and there. The thought of sitting in every weekend doesn't appeal at all in the winter. I guess the summer's different because there's so much more to do.

You getting sponsored to do it AP? Can't imagine you'd give it up for nothing.

Na I usually try and do it. Always sick of the bevvy by the time the festive period is over and it just gives you a nice wee boost.

I'm doing it as well, same as I do every January and its fucking brutal. First time in living memory I've been sober at Ibrox for a game.

Only bonus was being able to drive home from the city centre after the game rather than having to fuck about waiting on trains.

My liver might thank me for it, but it's fucking chronic right now.

I'm enduring one of the worst hangovers in living memory here. Why would I give that up?!
