Haven't had a proper wet shave in years

Been growing the facial hair for two or three weeks. It glints ginger in the sunlight. In past experience it never fills out into one continuous beard either really, just looks like longer and longer stubble.

I had that problem. Just got to let it grow. I found that the hair that grew first wasn't all my hair, it was just the hairs that grow fastest. If you keep letting it grow the slower ones will catch up. Then the longer it gets the hair you do have fills in the gaps where there's none. You've really just got to be committed to it.

I think 20 weeks is what you need to commit to to see what it will be like. Takes at least 3 months for mine to thicken up tbh.

I've always been a scruffy gadgie but scrub up great.

I've got a trim but I can never find the right balance, it either looks like a homeless mess (which I'm fine with but my gran hates) or an underdeveloped pube mask.

Probably pick up a new trimmer soon or after Xmas.

Just wish you could take it off for a few minutes just for a wee look. I'll need to go hide in another country for a couple weeks, at least I'd come back with stubble. Can't suffer the embarrassment of showing to people I've only met in the last few years that I look like a teenage lesbian without it. Well I did 4 year ago.

My brother has been sporting a beard at various lengths over the past 5 years or so, if he gets it trimmed right down his face looks tiny he loves when i mention it too.
