For those who've seen Rogue One, did anyone see it in 3D IMAX?

If you have is it worth the bother?

My pal did, and then i went to see it with them in regular and they said it wasn't that much better. But imax is always fun.

She said the cgi humans, you either know already or you will, were convincing in imax. Good, as they fucking weren't in regular.

Guardians of the Galaxy. Laugh Camp nonsense, very enjoyable. 7.5/10

Rogue one. 8/10. Watched it in 3d. Really great, lots of action, hefty battle scenes and referenced Iraq and jungle warfare into the bargain.

Well Rogue One was excellent at the IMAX last night 8/10.

Being light on all the Jedi stuff made it better.

Born to be Blue 7/10
Chet Baker part bio played brilliantly by Ethan Hawke, I think! (I never hung out with the cool cat of west coast swing but his performance did seem credible, I think!)

Watched a couple of netflix films over the last few days, alright but not the kind of thing you'd bother seeing again -

Green Room, 6/10 - Not the worst thing I've ever seen, not that much to it though.

Foxcatcher, 7/10 - Pretty good performances from Tatum, Ruffalo and Carell. It's a true story and a really interesting one, if you don't know anything about the Foxcatcher story then I'd highly recommend the Team Foxcatcher documentary on Netflix. This film takes some liberties with the timeline but it gives a good picture of the personalities and interactions of the main people involved. The doc was a much better telling of the story though, but I'd recommend them both.
