Like any job, I expect there's good and bad. It's probably just the bad ones get far more publicity than most jobs.
Any excuse to post this though

Know a fair few police officers and have encountered them enough, genuinely never had an issue.
Doesn't shock me that Lewy Woods has had bad experiences with them mind you.

They seem to take more offence to you trying to speak reasonably with them than if you told them to get to fuck, strange people, dangerous people as well with the power they're given.
*Obviously not all of them but in general.

Only issues i've had with police were at the football.
I've been pulled over a few times and they were sound, just normal people doing their jobs.

Ye please are sound if you're not a thick cunt.

He's a big cunt; got a hoodie on and a menacing (but obviously shite) dog. She's a burd and no matter how well she's trained she'll get a doin' off a guy unless he's legless. They're not going to fuck around waiting to see if he's really just a playful pussy-cat. Still a bit radge tasering him in the coupon.
If he was a race relations bloke then he should have been more cognizant of the potential for it to go wrong. Just answer the fucking question you tosser. Wouldn't be happy myself but I'm no daft enough to get wide with the fuzz. Yahh, been a bit cheeky when I was young & full of cum. Boy is in his sixties and should have known better.

If the police tried to stop me getting into my house for no apparent reason they'd get a lot more verbal than that old boy gave and I'm pretty sure I wouldn't get a taser for my troubles. Racism alive and well in the police force the arctic.

Generally speaking (but not always) people who get into these sort of incidents with the police have an attitude or agenda.
If a police officer spoke to me in the street and asked my name I would give it to them, let them run the checks and we would all leave happy after a few minutes. Not in a second would I decide to try and walk/run off or fight back. The police at football are slightly difference but I do understand (although don't agree) why they have to take a stronger view. If they start chatting to people it generally ends in a flashpoint when the thick chavs will inevitably get involved thus it makes more sense to move people on quickly. In terms of the video is that the full incident? or just the flashpoint. Not seen the full story. Why did the police want to speak to him, why didn't he engage with them and give his name and why was some twat recording throughout. Almost reeks of the cyclist youtube videos you get where they cut out the bit when they've gone through the redlight and cut some one up before getting hit

You're right. The victim is at fault.
