Well, indeed. Trump (and before long, his family, and Pence, and Ryan, and Priebus) is fucked because Michael Flynn is singing like a canary. It reminds me of when Chuck Blazer brought Blatter and FIFA down.

He's also fucked because of the enormous amount of information provided by foreign intelligence agencies to their American counterparts. Information which proves criminality on the part of almost everyone in Trump's family. His whole business is knee deep with the Russian mob; he wasn't some accidental choice of Moscow.

Which country has provided most information to the Americans? Germany. Hence Trump's fury and attitude towards Merkel over the weekend. The Germans were helped by the US in preventing similar Russian infiltration in their politics, and they've returned the favour.

And the investigators are fully aware that Pence isn't and has never been some unwitting accomplice either. But this is a scandal of such monumental, earth-shattering proportions that naturally, it's taking time for a comprehensive case to be put together. It'll take a lot longer than that to remove all traces of Russian influence from the US governmental apparatus.

It remains to be seen what Trump does when the net closes around him. But it's only a matter of time - and when it does, Utah Senator Orrin Hatch, not Mike Pence or Paul Ryan, will probably end up interim President. And when it does, the traitorous Republican Party will find itself out of power for decades.

In December, after 17 separate agencies all concluded that Russia had interfered in the US election with the clear aim of helping Trump win, President Obama ordered the seizure of Russian diplomatic compounds in New York and Maryland. These facilities were used for espionage; and were almost certainly a key part of Russian collusion and conspiracy with the Trump campaign.

Last Wednesday, Moscow - which has kompromat on Trump, meaning he dances to its tune, or else - warned it would take "counter measures" if these properties were not returned:
