Only guess is they plan to put Branny out on loan for regular games.

The news says he can play in midfield, but most sources have him listed as a right back. I guess if Smith-White-Other is off on loan to st mirren then he's a useful competitor for the right back berth.

He's got a decent pedigree, but doesn't stand out as the answer to our prayers in midfield.
