And lets not talk about Paul McCallum the guy from West ham

Good signing imo, he'll most likely be used as cover. Definitely doesn't solve our midfield though.

Yeah, that few appearances at this stage of his career isn't great tbh, but we'll see what happens. Klopp didn't give him first team starts because he thinks he's shite, so there's obviously something there.

Obviously highly thought of down south, let's hope he can do the business!

Thank fuck we are covered if Smith, Smith and Brandon all get injured.

Not that keen on loan signings from down south: would rather see us with a settled team than guys who are going to be there for a year and leave. That's two now with him and Smith-Brown, and I can't think of too many that have worked out for us in the past. That said, if he does a job for us then obviously I won't be complaining.

Can see why people are frustrated if we're signing what seems to be another full back/defensive midfielder, though: we've already brought in two full backs plus Grzelak, so although another one wouldn't go amiss if Smith's going out on loan it doesn't really seem like a priority position any more. Will be frustrating if it genuinely transpires that we don't have anyone lined up for in goals/attacking midfield.

Liverpool's standards are a wee tad different to ours.

Yeah I probably wouldn't want to be relying on Liam smith or Brandon for long term cover. Doubt we'll see much of Brandon anyway this season, he got a couple appearances when our season was finished.

Brandon is quality.

Yeah he looked good and so did that laddie who scored the fucker in Ireland.

They're not realistic options for week in week out football though are they? They will be at one stage in their career probably but not now. Still not convinced about Liam smith yet either.

If this guy doesn't work out he goes home and that's it, decent enough signing until some players like Brandon and smith develop.

I hope this Randall guy fails.

A 21 year old with such little first team experience doesn't bode very well.

Hearts fans are absolutely terrible. Boys written off before he's even kicked a ball because he's not a keeper.

Really not into the idea of loaning English players for a year. Most of the time they're shite anyway, but I'd rather not develop another club's players.
