But that was a case of sectarian murder, where the perpetrator arguably was following the teachings of his faith correctly, so it pretty much does determine that.

Isn't it strange that this got so much news coverage, almost like there aren't lots of muslim people hunting down other muslims with knives to kill people for wishing others happy easter. Taking agency away from this man's atrocious actions and letting him off the hook by blaming his religion and by extension all followers of this religion (as CC was suggesting with this example) means that you are chief contributor of awful chat to this thread. Would suggest you look up ahmadiyya, what they believe and how this is viewed by other muslims. Maybe watch 'What british muslim really think' by Trevor Phillips if you've not already seen it.

Nobody's letting him off the hook by raising questions about what a significant proportion of the muslim population in this country think about their fellow citizens, their attitudes to beliefs, life choices and social behavior that is widely accepted in our society.

A lot of what CC said is crap and not even worth commenting on, but the equally ill-informed nonsense sneeringly directed at him is just as bad. I'm away out, enjoy your mocking.

If you care to read back, you'd see that he was calling Sadiq Khan scum while mis-quoting him. He then moved the subject on to Islam and accused everyone else of "being afraid to address the issues" of which I then addressed his question directly with my opinion on Islam.

I have big issues with Islam, I just don't agree with the mis-representation muslim people generally, who are living their lives the best they can, as you do.

It's very predictable behaviour, the arrogant assertions and then hide under the "victim complex" rock. We see it time and time again and the trick is old. People can only take a strop so many times before others realise they are crying wolf.
