Tbf, that money was anything but squandered. Mags regularly demonstrates to the THF just how beneficial it is to the life prospects of your thick kids to splash out enough for them to be able to put a mid-table Edinburgh private school on their CV.

Must be shite being outclassed at work by people that went to school for free in a dingy council building.

That table - a straight average doesn't tell the full story. It could well be that a team pays an overall lower average salary than a rival, but if it has a large number of lower-paid employees it could still be offering larger salaries to new recruits and star performers (allowing them to attract targets cos they would 'pay higher').
That's without reading all the detail of the report and how the averages are calculated because I can't be bothered.

The table works off of a squad of 26. That's probably why some teams are so low - hamilton will have maybe 20 proper first team players and they'll be getting judged off of a group including some genuine youth players. It's imperfect, but a decent indicator. Overall wage budget is also imperfect as there'll be teams with far smaller youth setups than other, but would also be a good indicator.

Asking for 100 quid to "guarantee" your hibs ticket. The club has no shame right now.
11-27-2017, 09:25 PM
What does that actually mean?
I take it ST holders still get 1st dibs but won't get their own seat and this £100 guarantees your own seat? Why the fuck would anyone pay a ton for that
11-27-2017, 09:29 PM
There will be daft cunts out there that will pay it thinking thats the ticket included
![]() Pay 100 just to get the chance to pay another 30 for your own seat
The way Hearts are treating the fans in terms of money grabbing has seen me cancel my FoH contribution and is putting me off renewing next season.
It's a total piss take tbh, sick of it. For the shite we are served up it is robbery. I remember the days where you got cup games included in the (cheaper) season ticket
