I think Mags was kidding...but for real, have you tried having a cool shower and then using anti perspirant before bed?

Not everyone has a bedside sink to wash down in when the need arises.

Correct, I was kidding.

My real advice was changing mattresses that I stand by.

It's really unpleasant, Acey. Sometimes it gets in your hair, and you have to have a shower to get properly clean.

Every time I've had it it's always after dreaming that I read one of Aceys posts.

What do we make of this, chaps? My bursd's nephew is 1 next week, and she was asking his mum what to get him, if there's anything he needs etc.

The sister said we should buy the bairn Euros or Asda vouchers. I think that's cheeky as fuck, tbh - it's fair enough asking for that for your own birthday, but not your baby son's  Comical Ally

What's the consensus: sensible prudence or tight-arsed bastardry?  I should add, they're not short of cash.

Demand to know what the Asda vouchers would be spent on for him, then insist on a receipt as proof.

See gift giving is all about the gentle troll these days. I mind my mum got me a fucker a while back. The 3rd in a series of 5 books. So i had to buy 1 and 2 before i could read it. Then I was so into it I bought 4 and 5 to complete it Laugh

Its all about gifts that cost them money in the longer term. Something that they'll have to spend money on themselves

Got my ma back a fucker, got her and my auld man flights to Barcelona. Oh wow thats a great present! she thought. Yeah but you've to get your own accommodation and spending money etc Monty Chuckle
