Taff whats the feelings amongst the support now with Funk? Do you expect to lose him soon or are we getting a bit carried away?

In English over priced monetary terms, he's bound to be worth around £50M now eh? 

The feeling is he will do well in the Prem but as to his worth I think if we sold him now 8-10m, but if he starts pulling up trees in the prem(scoring goals)then you could easily double that.He'll be our player for the kick off to the new season but if he starts with a bang we'll probably improve his contract so anybody coming for him will have to pay big bucks.Thereby making your cut that much bigger.I've a sneaking suspicion with a good pre-season under his belt he may well turn a few heads next season.Done ever so well coming back from such an injury especially when you realise we had a striker we had a striker recovering from the same injury yet he was loaned out to Torquay to get fit.

He just got promoted from the best league in the world so he's probably worth 75 million tbf.

Love Paterson but I think the Premiership may be above his ability if he is playing in an attacking position. He is well suited to the Championship and SPL as his physical strengths can get him a long way but he has looked pretty pish for Scotland.

He' got a genuine ability to be in the right place at the right time-you can't coach that.Though he's done extremely well for us I've always thought he's hasn't quite got his fitness levels back yet and thats why when the lads had a break and a decent pre-season I think we'll see an even better player.

If he gets any fitter or stronger he could be one of those Huddlestone type players in CM, but it's a big ask. Can see him having the odd game where his pants are pulled down by Eriksen etc...

I don't think he'll be 'found out' whilst the rest of cardiffs players get an easy ride. The whole team will find that league very difficult, I wonder where it would leave funk if he was relegated with them?
