I legit drove up the tram tracks a few months ago, was driving home from North Berwick at night and ended up driving in to town and up the bus and tram only bit, just floored it until I got on to Lothian road and got the fuck out of there
Actually raging at how shite I expect fallout 76 is going to be. Should've just stopped at the masterpiece New Vegas was.
Was chatting to yung soapy about it earlier and he made a good point. All this thing about “create your own stories, giving you the platform to shape the game the way you want toâ€. Fuck off nut. Give me a class story like the other fallouts. I don't want to play some vague shallow storyline revolving around wee multiplayer side quests.
It's essentially elder scrolls online but fallout and look how shit that is. Also not sure how this whole “every character is actually a player†thing is going to work when the map is 4x bigger than fallout 4 but there is only going to be dozens, not hundreds or thousdands of players in a server at once.
Looks like everything F4 was criticised for, mainly the shite quests, lack of dialogue and linear storyline will just be the same.
Calling it now there will be some form of battle Royale DLC.
Just need to be able to see through all the usual E3 hype.
Not said anything about in game purchases so you can guarantee it will be riddled with them. Roaming about the wasteland in 50 quid hello kitty power armour can't wait
Get modding as part of the PC Master Race and you can have that power armour already.
I see what you mean about the game as a whole, though. I finished Far Cry 4 recently, and watched some “making of†stuff afterwards. The devs were talking a lot about how players didn't really take to the story of Far Cry 3, and how the best feedback they got came from players doing mad stuff and basically making up their own story. So, they made a conscious decision to focus less on the plot in Far Cry 4 (you can tell).
Thinking about it, the game I've probably enjoyed most in the past few years is Mass Effect 2, which was all about the plot, and building a world that you can get invested in. F76 sounds like it's going to be a weird take on GTA Online.
Suppose we'll have to wait and see as gameplay footage trickles out.

Yep, the plot was definitely the least important part of games like The Last Of Us and Uncharted, probably should just bin trying to tell a good story in favour of a shallow multiplayer experience. There's a place for both

If it had been sold as Fallout Online I would've accepted it but they're trying to spin it as you'll get the same experience as old fallouts with all this extra added stuff.
Wonder if they'll do the same with the new elder scrolls
