It's pathetic Best summer I can ever remember, genuinely beautiful days every single day and folk find something to moan about

Bump this thread when we're in the dark despair of winter so that we can have a rueful laugh at how we took a rare warm summer for granted.

I've spent everyday for the past 2 months either golfing, out walking, eating al fresco or sitting in a beer garden. It's absolutely magnificent.

I stand by my complaint, 20 odd degrees at night whilst sleeping off Sunday beverages does not make for a pleasant Monday morning :

Wouldn't mind a wee downpour at least, those dry 3g pitches

If we weren't such a weedy country that can't deal with a bit snow properly this year would've been perfect.

A proper winter followed by a proper summer and all that goes with both

My seventh Asian summer and it doesn't get any easier, but I will be out of the country for most of August
