"You’ll do plums"

I very much doubt that most men would die in the name of freedom.
Yours, a certified coward.

I'll admit that using a bunch of wee laddies play fighting in an advert denouncing the phrase ''boys will be boys'' isn't the best, but as you get older that phrase never really goes away probably until your early 20s and is the only part of the advert i'd criticise.
You always hear ''boys will be boys'' in retaliation to criticism about a guy harassing some lassie he's trying to pull or whatever. It seems to have transformed from something you say to a wee laddie kicking his ball at a window to how it's more often used now. It just normalises terrible behaviour, although I wouldn't count play fighting in that category. A lot of guys see it as an attack on all men or they feel offended when folk bring this sort of stuff up but I've never really understood why. Surely any normal person wouldn't want that happening to their mum/sister/auntie etc so what is the issue with publicly addressing it? Maybe society really does just hate all white men these days

The fact that AP feels personally attacked by this is telling

Just watched it. A cyclical attempt to sell more of their product. Next

Brb moaning about everyone being too easily offended while also losing my mind over an advert for shaving razors

The original ad, featuring “The Best a Man Can Getâ€, aired during the '89 Superbowl. Even a few black faces! Plays on family, father and son (multi-generational), healthy living, and positive relationships. Maybe a bit too power man oriented but it's a world away from painting all men as rapists and murders.

I've never heard 'boys will be boys' in relation to sexual harassment. More to do with boys generally getting into mischief.
Haven't watched the advert so not sure what the big deal is. Don't use Gillette so cant boycott anyway

How you getting on with the one blade? I like it but find it a nightmare under my chin and onto my neck. Been using the number 2 and it's perfect length for me

The open ended bit is meant to go at the top and you shave up the way against the grain. You do need to go over the same bit a few times. No guard is good but it leaves me completely clean shaven.

One good thing (well, two actually) at least that has come out of this Gillette ad is that I now know about 'soy boys', and I've seen the Viva La Vulva video, which is more

The comments on this are mental! She's the director of the Gillette ad, Kim Gehrig.
