There was a moment a while ago that summed us up today. Morrison gets it wide right 35 yards out, Smith overlapping out wide, Clare inside, and Morrison turns inside and loses out to the first man.

What's wrong with a quick pass wide, a quick cross in, and seeing what the height of Dave and Clare can do when the ball isn't fucking telegraphed a week in advance every time?

He's about the only player at the club who's first thought is to take the ball forward.

He's still got a lot of work to do but the team is better for having him in it imo.

Well that was a fucking shambles of a period of play

Today is not the game to bring mitchell back in the fold, but there's no way Garuccio is ever a player. Smith is a better option at left back.

I think Garuccio has given the ball away every time he's touched it.

Garuccio is having a howler today but he's still a decent LB for this level. I'd much rather have him than Mitchell at full back.

There's plenty in maroon have given it away every time they've had it.

Just not happening for Morrison today but we're in a position where he's our best winger. No idea why we constantly ignore our lack of width, was it not Cathro who got rid of them all in favour of wing backs?

Morrison has shown he deserves to be around the first team, he gets involved, doesn't hide and carries the ball forward well. Even though he has no end ball he's pretty much the only player who is getting us forward.

He's young and is never going to be class every game and these days are expected it's just fucking pish we have no one to sub him with as we're having the most joy down the right.

Good ball in there for Naismith though.

Naisy really unlucky to be offside as he's manhandled in to an offside position. Atleast it poses that doubt in their heads that we can do something.

That's how we need to play. Vanecek might be 6'4” but we'll not get much out of just pinging ball up to him against their back three.
