Let's hope that the SFA come calling for Levein after Walter Smith & Craig Brown knock them back.

We're so pathetic when you think about it, our club sides get fucked in Europe off teams from Malta and Luxembourg and our national team gets fucked off the likes of Kazakhstan and Georgia.
We're an absolute embarrassment from top to bottom.

The hilarious thing is it really wouldn't take much at all to change us into a nation who can punch slightly above their weight and make a few tournaments.
Problem is we are run by corrupt and incompetent dinosaurs.

We'll get nowhere by making ridiculous appointments like McLeish. We tried something different once with Vogts at exactly the wrong time, and are afraid of straying from the standard 'most qualified unemployed Scot' option.
Even the FAI managed to convince Trappatoni to take over

It's the arrogance we approach these games as well that astounds me. Some of these cunts may play for big club teams but as a nation we are bottom of the ladder sort of shite. They should start playing like they are in a game every time they step onto the pitch. There are no strolls for Scotland now.

I'm certain at the start of the last campaign we gave all the Celtic players a rest and ended up drawing at home to Lithuania, that started a chain of bad results and by the time we recovered to look like a reasonable side we'd left ourselves a mountain to climb. We had what about 14 call offs? for this and again we fuck it up, you only qualify from this group if you win the opening 2 fixtures and give yourself a chance, it's fucking grim like. Yep. More people go to watch football in Scotland per capita than any country in Europe. Our league is horse shit, the standard dreadful (as can be evidenced by the fact Hearts could still be 3rd this season!) and our international team hasn't qualified for a major tournament in over 20 years. We lurch from one disaster to another and yet no meaningful progressive changes are ever made that might see at least some light at the end of the tunnel. Its absolutely phenomenal and probably says something about the intelligence of us all that the sport retains the type of obsessive support that it does.

Not allowing Robertson to get his own flight is sackable. The performance is sackable. The result is sackable.
He will likely get a contract extension

The whole set up is poison. I don't think half (or more) of these players even want to play for Scotland, would more than happily drop out of the squad given the chance.
03-21-2019, 09:18 PM
Even NI who have a team full of cunts that don't play for their clubs can get results.
03-21-2019, 09:39 PM
Could and should have been sitting with their manager now
Got McLeish instead though

Playing that English guy ahead of O'Donnell is the perfect example. Aye he may not be a world beater, but he knows the players, has 6 caps and is fucking Scottish.
But for some reason this guy is chucked on for a tricky debut because he plays in a certain league and had an absolute nightmare.

Speaking of Killie, I would have said Brophy was worthy of a call up?
I know he wouldn't get a game ahead of the the Celtic English Championship dream team though

I don't know if McBurnie is ever going to be the answer, but he's only just got back from injury after missing the last 3 Swansea games - no way he should have been playing.
He should have played Fraser on the wing and Burke up top, but we bent over to Bournemouth's request and wrapped Fraser up in cotton wool.
03-21-2019, 10:37 PM
McBurnie is absolute piss. I don't care if he gets goals in the championship, Rhodes bagged goals as well but he's muck.
03-21-2019, 10:56 PM
I'd have picked Brophy ahead of McNulty, that's for sure. I'd also have McGinn nowhere near the squad, never mind the team, how he started ahead of McTominay is utterly beyond me.
I'm starting to believe the rumours that McLeish is just a jakey, and hasn't suffered a stroke.

Didn't really have a problem with him picking McNulty tbf. 6 goals in 7 games or something.
