Not being part of the 1983 Aberdeen elite works against him.

Ryan Fraser saying it was his choice to miss the Kazakh game, and he walked back into the team on Sunday :
there's your problem.

He was absolute pish last night anaw.

For a bit of context - he done his knee while training with Scotland 21s and has had numerous injuries on artificial pitches. I don't have an issue with it.

It is difficult to disagree with this.....the sum of our parts under the totally past it McLeish (more past it than Levein which is saying something!) is nowhere near what it would be under a fresh, motivated, talented coach.
Liverpool's Andy Robertson is one of the most exciting left-backs in Europe. Manchester United's Scott McTominay has received massive plaudits for his excellence in the famous victory over PSG in the Champions League. Bournemouth's Ryan Fraser has more Premiership goals than Christian Eriksen and Dele Ali and more Premiership assists than Mo Salah and David Silva. Callum McGregor is a terrific footballer. His Celtic team-mate, James Forrest, has been outstanding. Jon Souttar has talent. Stuart Armstrong and Callum Paterson have played 50 Premiership games between them this season. Kenny McLean is playing for Norwich, the top team in the English Championship. John Fleck is at Sheffield United, the second-best team in the Championship. John McGinn is doing well at Aston Villa. Kieran Tierney will come back into this again soon. This is a promising group of players, but they're being wasted - and it's horrible to watch.

Folk advocating mongo Hughes

I'm hardly advocating for him. I'd take one of you cunts ahead of McLeish.

After the nightmare of the last few days tonight has potentially been a very good one for Scotland. Since the Nation's League ended I have wanted to see Serbia qualify automatically so as to avoid the play offs and they have gone to Portugal and got an excellent draw this evening. They have a lot of good players and we want them finishing in the top 2 so we don't face the prospect of playing them in a one off game.
It is still early days of course but I think there is every chance looking at the groups and the results so far that we will be looking at a play off scenario whereby we play Finland at Hampden and then one of either Norway/Bulgaria at either Hampden or in Oslo/Sofia. I don't see us or any any of those 3 countries qualifying automatically and if Serbia do that would be the 4 teams.

Don't usually agree with a lot of what he says, but he's bang on the cash here.

Whose quote is that? They are spot on. We are at rock bottom on the international scene, with a group of players like that.

McLeish is in the press today praising Petrie & McRae as being good football men who don't deserve the level of abuse they've received.
![]() This will be the same Alan McRae who chaired McLeish's testimonial committee when he was at Aberdeen and Rod Petrie who gave him the Hibs job? And then these two jokers get to decide who gets the National team managers gig after Stewart Reagan made an arse of trying to get Michael O'Neill from Northern Ireland? No surprise whatsoever that cronyism runs through it and they appoint one of their pals who is behaving like he's been on a week long bender with George Best. The whole situation is rotten to the core and won't change until we have a clear out of the SFA from top to bottom.
