Good laddie. Maybe he isn't one of the best youth prospects in world football but he's getting himself good exposure by playing in the first team and already has some big clubs sniffing about at a very young age.

Getting the game time and noticed at that age is half the battle but he is skooshing it on that front.

Considering his age and how good he's looked since he's started playing, I don't think it's really that out there to say he's a serious prospect : Assuming the City interest is genuine, they know what they're doing when it comes to recruiting young players.

There's just this thing about constantly putting our own players down and mocking any sort of suggestion they could be that level above and command big money.  Talking of Scotland as a whole rather than just at hearts.

Out of that list it would be interesting to see how many of them are judged to be at the level of playing in cup finals and starting every week.  As I said he's not one of the best young players in the world but he definitely deserves recognition as a 17 year old which that list is

I think he is playing and standing out at a lot higher level than most kids his age who will still be floating about the academy. If he had a city badge next to his name which could easily be the case in January, no one would be questioning him being mentioned in lists like that.

The reality is the league is dog shit and the standard of football is dog shit (see last night for details) so a guy who has done alright in a handful of games shouldn't be considered one of the brightest prospects in the game.

He wouldn't have been anywhere near it if it wasn't for jammy wearer Murray anyway
