Naismith will be lucky to play 90 minutes in total between now and the end of the season, can imagine Walker will be right up Stendel's street with his work rate :Heh

51 points still up for grabs Clanger

Next few games are pretty big, Ross County away, Rangers home, St Johnstone away, Killie home. If we can somehow get 7 points out of that (win away to St Johnstone a must really) then I'll be more confident of survival.

I think a better way to look at it is we need to get 6 points more than Hamilton starting from now. If we can't do that then we deserve to go down.

It's not a great situation but if we get some decent players in, we'll be okay Eek

Would have felt worse if the Aberdeen game hadn't went so well (other than result) TBH.

Davies

Clare - Soapy - Lindsey - Hickey

Smit - Irving - New CM

Naisy - Diouf - Meshino

Back up of Halkett, Walker, Uche, Cochrane etc

Surely to fuck that should be enough.

Smith should be the RB. Clare seems to have been told hes allowed to run at people with the ball now so i'd prefer to see him playing further forward.

Being an effective attacking full-back and an effective attacking midfielder/winger are two different things, and I'm not sure Clare has the subtlety or intelligence to do the latter. He does have the athleticism and enough footballing ability to be the former, though, and his concentration and application seem to have improved since Stendel came in.

Davies and Lindsay seem like no-brainers and, along with Souttar coming back, should give us a decent enough defence to get by for the next six months. Beyond that, I'd at least like to see an attack-minded CM, a winger and a goalscoring striker come in. Apparently Liam Boyce is out of contract at the end of the season and Burton are willing to listen to offers. He'd be ideal.

Hamilton home and St Mirren away back to back in February are gong to be huge games.

We will go on a bounce after January. We'll get the points we need to stay up.

Clare just got sent off for losing his concentration playing at RB. All his best work playing in that role has been going forward. Smith can do a job in midfield but the reason he has become so popular among the support is due to his performances at RB. Was hoping to see the end of players being played out of position now that Levein is away.

Harsh. Halkett comes out of position and concedes a soft free kick that Aberdeen take quickly since Halkett isn't covering the space. Clare sees the danger and just hauls him back. If you really want to blame anyone, not that I think anyone really deserves the blame for the red card, it's going to have to be Halkett for me.

Clare has made some howlers in the RB area of the pitch in his time here though Warnock

Not looking for a debate, just a statement.

I didn't agree with him pulling the guy back at the time. Was naive from a player who needs to learn the position

John Souttar had some utter howlers in his early Hearts career, has no bearing on him going forward.

From my spot in N, if he doesn't grab the boy, he's clean though on goal and, with our current goalkeeping situation, was going to score. He took a calculated risk that only a pin point strike stopped from paying off.
