Still absolutely galloping on the overlap right up until full time as well
Noticed that too, thought he looked noticeably stronger and a bit taller than when we won there in September, as they wilted he was powering forward. In general it looked to me that Hearts were the fitter team.

When he got some covering help in the 2nd though, he had it all under control.
'On toast'? Not for me. Boyle didnt go past him and was resorting to crosses to get anything going. A couple of Hibs acquaintances messaged at HT to say similar.
Even when he was getting criticised, that point was highlighted in the analysis. The critique also included 'Hickey needs to get tighter on Boyle to stop the crosses but if you do that he'll burn right past you'.
Boyle looked like he had him on toast early doors but then hickey settled and sussed him out.
He still looks like he needs to fill out but he doesn't struggle physically like some of the other younger players have. It would be a real shame to lose him for nothing/low fee because i think he's proven now he's not a flash in the pan.
Hickey is superb. He makes mistakes, but relatively few overall - you do have to remind yourself at times that he's far from the finished article and has been playing first team football less than a year, so to be performing to this level is so impressive.

The last high profile mistake he had was against Rangers, and there were quite a few reports that he took it on the chin at half time and came out a played great in the second half. So long as he keeps that attitude he'll go far.
Thought he was poor on Saturday but really good last night. That's the inconsistency you can expect at that age. Will be interesting to see how the summer pans out.
