It's PC gone mad (but this time it actually has).

It's the perfect storm of things to offend arseholes tbf: teenage actress, has been on the show since she was a child so people will still have those connotations in their minds, it's a major deviation from the books (apparently) so anyone who has read them will see it as gratuitous and unnecessary, and it was a fairly intense, shocking scene in the way it was shot.

Folk are proper losing their shit over it though No doubt fucking lapping it up when heads were getting lopped off, eyes gouged out, skulls burst open like a canteloupe etc

I havent seen the scene, i've read the books, started the TV, then jacked it. Anyway, whatever it was, i bet it wasnt anywhere near as bad as anything thats been on Spartacus.
