You should see the level of complacency in my work. I was at assembly this morning and one of the folk in my department shook hands with maybe 10 kids when handing out achievement certificates. I was properly like at the back of the hall.

Cunts throwing dirty dishes in the sink in our base and leaving them lying as well. My boss cleaned all the surfaces in the base at the end of the day yesterday and I had to do it again at break time today because they were that bad: coffee and food spills, and dirty spoons etc lying on the table tops. Bad enough at the best of times, but at the moment it's wild They're all talking about weekend plans as well - all involving the pub, out for meals, all sorts.

The pub is fucking heaving near my bit the night I'm just trying to do my bit, I fully expect to get the virus at some point like but I'm trying to stress that it's not just a trivial matter to people, especially at work and they're just getting angry about it, they just want to pretend it's not a big deal and it's business as usual

What actually is the advice? There doesn't seem to be any coherent strategy communicated by the government.

I didn't know folk weren't meant to go to the pub - is everyone meant to stay indoors as much as possible?

Totally agree with you and get where you're at. We share our floor and thus the kitchen with the weirdest bunch of freaks seen outside of a Star Wars movie AKA the contact team.

There's a girl in our office who has Crohn's disease and is now working from home due to the immunosuppressant drugs she's on, but these mentalists who use the kitchen have insisted on continuing to leave everything at their arse despite sign advising everyone to not leave anything in the sink and ensure they clear all surfaces after using them.

The cleaners were due to do a routine “deep clean” of all the fridges & microwaves tonight, but came in moaning to me about the state of the shit that had been left and how they were unable to use the sink due to the amount of food that had blocked the plug.

People are just scum!

They want to achieve herd immunity which requires 60% of the population to get this (and millions to die). Its total fucking nonsense and based solely on the economy.

It's now becoming apparent even to them that this is a horrendous tactic hence why we're seeing the back tracking. We'll be on lockdown by this time next week.
