Trying to WFH today - in principle something that should be easy for me, that I could do anyway and choose not to. Laptop has chosen today to start just constantly crashing for no traceable reason Fuck off. Almost tempted to just go to the office on the basis that I'll probably be the only one there anyway.

He's said nothing about businesses, what are we meant to do? What about the millions of people that can't work from home? Carry on as normal and hope that folk ignore the advice? Would be helpful if he could just make a decision so folk know where they stand and can actually come up with a plan because at the moment folk are in total limbo.

Are UK schools and bars/restaurants just staying open then? Seems like madness.

He recommends not going to bars/clubs/theatres etc, but they aren't going to enforce closures, yet.

I think they'll be closed before the weekend, his language and tone changed very carefully when speaking about it.
