Still not entirely sure the best argument for creating life saving equipment is “maybe they were cheaper†which seems to be the point Herzog is suggesting.

If you've been trading on a self employed basis for a couple of years I don't think it's unreasonable to have 3 months of 'wages' set aside.
That could easily be the length of time required for a hernia operation and recovery for example. I accept the reality for many may be somewhat different but I don't think the government are to blame here.

I mean with regards the 3 month wait. Giving those late with their returns 4 weeks to get their shit together was fair (overly so?) but would inevitably lead to a delay in this being rolled out.
