563 in one day? Surely not?

Edit: It's true - and these are only the ones who have died in hospital. Likely to be 600+

Some folk are arseholes though. The pensioners are the worst, although I get they're probably more worried than most about this being the end of them.

Was in Aldoi yesterday and an old biddy with her husband went tonto at the old guy behind her. He walks with a stick and was trying to squeeze past her to get to the window ledge past the tills so he could have a rest and leaving his wife to bag and pay. Properly screeching that he was too close to her.

5 minutes later and she's apologising and squeezing past me as I'm waiting to pay. Fuck knows why she'd come back in as she didn't even have anything.

At this point Italy had 2979 deaths, while we have 2352.

Our jumps seem to be higher though.

Worth a quick read imo; reassuring to be reminded that this isn't normal and folk desperate to tell everyone how productive they're going to be while at home are best ignored. Doesn't help that I follow a lot of academic lawyers (fake lawyers imo) on Twitter who never seem to switch off.

Quite Good

Was at the supermarket earlier as well and the security guard went mental at a couple that went in separate then came out together. Chancers

Thing about legal twitter, and definitely immigration law twitter, the main folk online are all obsessed, it's their hobby, job, vocation, personality all rolled into one.

Pretty exhausting keeping up, if you have any outside interests at all.

Anyone else achieving much in lockdown? My highlight has been 30 mins on the turbo trainer every day Laugh and making big pots of soup.

Working from home with a young child is chaos and not really workable at all. Can imagine similar for those having to home school. Laugh

Am I reading that right that they're now saying to try and avoid/limit using ventilators if they can, but up until now we've been told they are the most important things to save lives?
