Poch managed to get to a CL final without making transfers for over a year - that's some achievement tbf.

United lumbered around for years without a clear strategy and you can argue that the transfer strategy is still a bit of a shambles, but Solskjaer is doing better than a lot of people give him credit for. A couple of high profile bloody noses this season but they're still 1 point off second with a game in hand.

Poch will win things at PSG because of the absurd financial edge they have over everyone else in France. The true sign he's done well with them is whether or not he can finally win them the Champions League.

Did they not make more money than they spent as well in that time? Thought it was pretty common knowledge that building their stadium hamstrung him in the transfer market. He's obviously an unbelievably good manager and the question marks over his lack of trophies is pretty harsh when you look at who he's managed.

Suspect that £250m is fuck all compared to any of his rivals anyway

I don't really place too much emphasis on the "net spend". All it really does is highlight how good a club is at recouping money they've spent elsewhere.

Look at Swansea, some would say £27m profit is grand, but they're cutting about the Championship just now.

It still doesn't change the fact he's not won anything as a manager. In the same time frame, Arsenal and Manchester United have both won three trophies apiece, despite being widely regarded as two clubs struggling to recapture anything close to former pomp.
