I read Billy Connolly's book recently. It's all his best stories from his stand up now that he's no longer performing, and most of it is weak unless you do a BC impression in your head. Any number of comedians have good material, people like Norm Macdonald and Billy Connolly make weak material funny.

Aye, it was on at half twelve iirc, ITV. Bet you were fun to stand around with in the Shed. Actually when you posted the original link, I had a dounble take thinking he had recently just passed (and had to look at the date on the item) but yes, that was ISJ. Aye, good times, watch the programme then up teh road to get the bus, off at Haymarket, to walk along Dalry/Gorgie roads and still get in to Tynie an hour 45 mins before KO, sit behind the goals, in the sun, beofre heading into the dark dank shed as it filled up.

Yup, down my granny's early doors, watch Saint & Greavsie eating rolls, then my old man would rock up about 1ish and then through to Tynecastle. I was in the old enclosure back then, first trip to the Shed was the home leg against Bayern Munich, and I got my next season ticket for there not long after. Don't think I saw as much of the games when I moved over there, but it was worth it.
