Hamilton knows this is a risk. Verstappen has the pace now. This could get tasty at the end.

Hamilton no option but to stay out now I would have thought.

If Hamilton had pitted RB would have left Verstappen out though so the positions would basically just be flipped from where they are now.

Verstappen need .08 secs a lap, Verstappen put in a 0.7 faster lap... could be a last lap thing here.

Hamilton keeping this up for 17 laps as Verstappen takes massive chunks out of the league each lap

Going to be a great ending, at least.

Does he have enough fuel to get to the end?

Definitely looks like a wrong decision, but they know that if Hamilton pitted Verstappen would've stayed out and then he'd have to pass Max who would want revenge for first lap.

Sounds to me like Max's aggressive driving has got in their heads.

Other scenario - Hamilton and Merc are trolling us on comms and their tyres actually have plenty life.

Max's tyres will have had plenty life taken out of them chasing him down as well, very interesting ending coming up.

Think maybe Hamilton had more life in his tyres than he let on.
