If the lesson is 'England will progress to the latter stages of major international tournaments by playing diddy nations' then it's a good one. Thankfully 'England are bobbins against any decent team' is also solid.

My concern is Jude Bellingham is going to berst on to the scene and take them to places that we don't want. Honestly think he's got the lot.

Nah, he's decent but he's not about to take the world by storm. Probably good for him playing at Dortmund the now but put him in the EPL and suddenly he has a couple of poor games and folk are calling him shite and that. Bit like Sancho he was comfy over there now he can barely get a game in a shambles man u team and the English hate him because he's black and he missed a penalty. His confidence has been battered.

Could go like that but I'm so impressed by him. Rate him so highly, not many players I go out of my way to watch these days. A leader at 18, not just a wee fanny trying flicks and tricks he's a proper grafter who dictates games.

I wouldn't be shocked to see him having a Rooney 2004 type influence on things. Reminds me of a mix of Gerrard and Yaya Toure.

Confident af. Last game I saw him, vs Rangers at Ibrox he was proper giving top players an earful. Rated, imo.
