Probably worth having a separate thread for them. First game of the season today against Berwick Rangers.

Why are our games at Whitehall Welfare Laugh

Must be a reason - we've got that wee stadium at Oriam that would be perfect for them.

Hopefully this B team thing is useful.

Just noticed that Alex Harris who was supposed to be the next big thing at Hibs playing for Berwick today, that's some fall

Edit - actually a few players with top tier experience playing for Berwick at the tail end of their careers, great experience for the young guys

What's the script with the B team can we take their players into the first team or once you're registered for the B's you can only move during transfer windows now we've got 2 in the same pyramid?

Not sure exactly how it's managed.

Think the guy Lowry at Rangers was playing for both sides last season so must be able to move between the two. I'd guess B players can move up but you can't drop first team players down for minutes maybe?

I see Arron Darge is captain today, quite interested to see how he goes over the next couple years. He's the wee brother of Rory Darge who's the hottest prospect in Scottish rugby so hopefully he's at least a decent athlete. Tony Hmm

5-0 Smith hat trick!

Now I'm wondering if this level is too low for some of them!

Open goal winning 2-0 Quite Good

I noticed si ferry listed as a sub, didn't realise he was going in as player manager.

Wait are they in the same league as our B side? Zlat

100% need to be either using Conor Smith as an actual first team player or sending him out on loan. Potential career wrecker if we make him play the full season at this level then almost certainly release him. Could be a great learning curve for our 16/17 year olds though tbf.
