Training ground is sound, fuck needing spent there. Get every penny on the field now we're done with the stadium and paying the Budge back

If we do good business over the summer we could certainly close the gap on the Old Firm while widening it between us and the rest.
Rangers absolutely need a complete clear out of dead wood and unless they get through their Champions League qualifying they’ll be screwed for cash. The only sellable asset that’ll bring in big money is Butland unless Stevie G does them a turn by signing Goldson & Tavernier for big money. Beyond that, they’re relying on someone in the Eredivisie taking a punt on Lammers…. ![]() In the summer they’ll lose McLaughlin (not played in how long?) Balogun, Barisic, Lundstram, Jack & Roofe. And then the likes of Diomande, Cortes, Silva & Sima will also go as they’re only there on loan. Despite Cheltic going straight into the Champions League, they’ll no doubt lose O’Riley and still need at least two goalkeepers, a centre half, an O’Riley replacement and someone else to play up front when Kyogo is getting subbed off or has fucked his shoulder again. They’re also still paying decent wages for guys that they’ll never get a sell on return for like Lagerbielke, Nawrocki & McCarthy (a 4 year deal he signed and has a year left.) They also have Idah & Bernardo on loan who are also likely to go back to where they came from, so unless Lawwell loosens the purse strings, they could be signing more unknowns and hoping for quick returns. If Beni signs then we’re likely only looking at needing a right back, a good box to box midfielder and a forward player (or two) if Shanks goes as expected. Definitely not a million miles away from where we want to be.

Quite rare for a non-OF club to have good seasons back-to-back but I think there's a good chance we'll manage third again next season if the right signings are made. The away form this season was massive and if we can replicate that again next season, we could close that gap a fair bit.
Fair play to Naismith, I was one who was quietly hopeful last season he'd do well and after a shaky start, seems to have really settled into the job. The next thing is to seriously challenge for a trophy. We've not raised our game against the OF when it matters so that's got to be the target this coming season.

From what I’ve seen of him he doesn’t look a £4m pound player. I can see the board issuing yet another share issue in the summer at this rate, especially if Cheltic win the Scottish Cup too as the fans will be out for blood if they don’t see them spending to keep up with what their pals in the east end are doing.

Diomondae is a good one and Rangers will be delighted to get rid of Barisic etc.. they need to replace lots of players

Celtic might be spending their money on something they weren't planning to.

Looking to settle but there’s ongoing discussions about liability, my contact says Cheltic want it to be a payment that excludes them from being liable as the Boys Club was a separate entity, so is more an acknowledgement that it shouldn’t have happened and we’re sorry, but don’t blame us because it’s not our fault. Whereas the claimants are saying that Cheltic and the Boys Club were one and the same and as a result Cheltic should publicly apologise and admit that they dropped the ball, and pay out accordingly as it happened on their watch at their club. He explained it to me in legal speak so the above word salad is my attempted regurgitation of it.
