Would guess that’s how it’s been sold to him. Show what you can do with a pre season and a European platform and get a good move.

I think a lot is being made of his movement and languid style, he didn’t nip about the place pre injury either.

I think that’s the plan, worst case scenario we’ve got a solid midfielder for the next couple of years. Or absolute worst he gets injured again and is out for 18 months
