Pep has obviously killed interesting football probably forever but he might have also stopped England ever winning anything. Foden, Stones, Walker, Rice and Saka are the majority of the core of their team and not one of them can do anything without a coach mapping out every second of the game for them

There's definitely something in that, means Southgate is completely out his depth trying to do the same things. Can see it with the way Foden plays in particular going off in wee huffs when he doesn't get the ball.
