Bigger picture we have been left behind as a nation when it comes to football tbf. We are getting there in terms of quality but we are still playing catch up. Think that’s why I’d like to see us go outside of Scotland for a manager because we have it ingrained into us that we’re pish and don’t deserve to be at these tournaments so you get performances like the last 2 euros when we do get there.

That’s irrelevant to the draw we had this euros though because even with our squad with injuries, we could’ve won they 2 games the manager just absolutely shit the bed that’s all there is to it. The discussions about attitude etc can come later just now all criticism has to be laid fully at the feet of Clarke. Not keen on this idea of moyes coming in either he sounded just as negative as Clarke when he was doing the analysis after the match. David Moyes was on about that last night, moaning about grass roots football. When was the last time he was up here?

The talent is there, there's a reason our players are getting scouted and signed elsewhere in Europe and England. How many youngsters have been poached by PL teams and never got a game? How's that our fault?

It's just a cop out to look elsewhere instead of having a proper look at the problem and analysing things properly.

Albania and Georgia are prime examples, we played them both fairly recently and beat them comfortably. Yet they're here having a go and giving their fans something to enjoy while we're set up not to lose.
