The saving grace is hibs are absolute shite as well.

I don’t want McInnes, Robinson or any of the other Scottish football merry go round of media favourites anywhere near it. If we appoint one of them we’ll be back where we are now within 2 years.

I want someone with new ideas who is willing to commit to changing things for the better. It’s not going to be a quick fix with the analytics coming in and suddenly everything is wonderful, but I want a bit of excitement when I go to the football.

I want to see the football that JJ played when he said he’d rather win 4-3 than 1-0 or the football we played under Burley.

I’m fed up watching us shit the bed against the Old Firm, setting up our starting XI to combat the threat of teams like Dundee rather than imposing our style of play on the game no matter what.

I don’t want some lower league English jobber to come in who’ll think that Jorge Grant is a player and they’re the man to get a tune out of him.

I want new ideas and new thinking to get behind, not more of the same.

Mcinnes has a great record of giving the OF tough games in fairness, at least compared to other managers.  He seems to know how to give them a game and one of the main reasons why I’d not be adverse to him managing us at some point.

Long term I agree with you Floyd I just have that concern that right now where we are is maybe not the time. There is a lot of football to be played granted but we’ve got a really condensed schedule coming up before Christmas, I still don’t feel we’re in a position where we look like beating anyone.  If we’re still cut a drift come the turn of the year and playing catch up I don’t think that’s a good position to be in and when you look at the games coming up and how quick they come it’s no entirely unrealistic.  Imo right now we need a manager who can get the best out of what we have the now rather than a manager who is needing an overhaul.


Hearing that starlizard has delivered us players already has dampened my excitement a bit, if he chucks 10m in the pot though I’d say go full steam ahead on pushing the boat out and taking the risks because we’d have access to a different calibre of pler and coach. I’m still fully behind it though and if we take the gamble on it and start the process now then fingers crossed we get off to a flyer with it because if we’re ever going to kick up a gear it’ll be with a resource like this

My trust / belief in Budge / the board is so low, i reckon the Star Lizard thing is not going to happen, i think they'll go get Robinson and then Bloom will pull back when he see's how much of a fucking bowling club we are, and it turns out it was all pish and the board leaked the link to the press in a "difficult moment" to distract the fans from how shite Naismith was and to try and deflect hoping he could scrape results and turn it around
