There is a vendetta forming against the big man, sad.

Nah that was a poor shout from me there, frustrations boiling over, I do think this has to be his last season though.

I just dont get if he's currently Scotland's number 1, does he not try to hold on until one more year to qualify for a major tournament.
I wonder if he will ask to be loaned out somewhere for one more year.

I don’t think he’ll retire this season unless he Fletchers his legs again. As Scott says, he’s Jock #1, so if he still feels physically fit, why wouldn’t he carry on for a bit?
At the very least, I reckon he’ll announce his forthcoming retirement at the start of a season, and have himself a farewell tour.

I get the feeling he might be phased out of that Scotland position again as well, it's incredible he's managed to miss out on two tournaments, came on in that friendly against Finland (pardon the pun lol) and that felt like a farewell appearance yet finds himself as the number one again.
I hope he can prove me wrong but I'm starting to feel like the errors are outweighing the wonder saves.

Don't think he is Scotland number 1 tbh. Gunn clearly preferred.
He's having questionable moments every week now. I know there's a way to treat a legend and all that but Clark should be raging that he's not getting a chance tbh. The whole situation is very strange.

Gordon has brought his experience to big games recently for Scotland, selected in front of Gunn and has been very good. Zander is nowhere near international level and doesn't have 80 caps worth of experience to fall back upon.

You do wonder if with Scotland, he is working with a better quality of player, they can deal with the balls in the box/pissing about with it at the back and Gordon can just focus on saving free kicks, long shots etc...his save against St Mirren was excellent when the guy tried to find the bottom left on the half volley. Also Hampden is usually a bowling green now. No St Mirren park cabbage patches to highlight his growing issues.

I may be wrong, but I think that AP is saying that Clark (Zander) is raging he’s not getting a game ahead of Craig Gordon, not that Clarke (Steve) is raging that Clark (Zander) isn’t playing.
Easy mistake when the names are similar, Zander (no E), Steve (with E).

Yeah I edited it. Too many Clark(e)s. He's an average keeper anyway. Whether Gordon is as average as him now is the debate.

Wouldn’t be my choice personally but pretty clear Gunn is Clarke’s number one. You’re right his better performances recently have come for Scotland though. Maybe international football is a bit less frantic than the SPFL and suits his age better. Might just need Hearts to take one for the greater good and keep him ticking over for internationals Aaron Hughes Gareth Bale style.

Gunn dropped a few clangers on his last outings and Gordon has been pretty much faultless so he’s back to number 1 in the nations eyes. I’d be surprised if Clarke saw differently, he’s been praising Gordon a lot after each match
