I usually do alright spotting the animals but aye some of them are elusive. Five sisters is decent and I've been up to the highland park a couple of times in recent years and like it up there.

I had access to the zoo whenever I wanted 30 yrs ago so would often head in early before it officially opened. Hung out with the red pandas a fair bit as they were pretty cool. And the polar bear before he choked to death on a squeaky toy. They were about but just trolling tf out the public.
Should just put them in bare cages again like the good ole days so the people get their money's worth.

My Gran saw a monkey smoking a fag at Edinburgh Zoo circa 1948 or something. The good old days.

Am I right in saying the lions used to be at a different bit? Like on flat ground rather than up that hill? My memory of them is being in a pen with a moat thing infront so they couldn't get out.

I’m going to five sisters tomorrow. Looked at Edinburgh but it was 90 fucking quid

Even the members gate queue was out the car park and took well over an hour to get through this morning   one wee traumatised 16 year old buzzing everyone through.  

Fucking school holidays man and this is my foreseeable future

Think that's right, a big pen with a moat. Though can't be sure if I'm honest, they did fuck all, lazy cunts!

I mind a rhino was about to charge me in Edinburgh zoo, pure drawing its foot across the ground like a bull.

Aye man I was starting to doubt myself as nobody seemed to be able to confirm or deny that, my memory of being there as a kid that you always seen the animals are they were always doing a bit, now it seems that all they do is hide and sleep

My main memory is the suicidal polar bear. Always looked ready to launch himself off a cliff.
